I would juice all kinds of greens to make vinaigrette’s and sauces

  • dan

Id use it to make wonderful juices and experiment with not so wonderful juices from random veggies and fruits.

  • Susan

I would juice EVERYTHING (everything that is juice-able, of course).

I make my husband eat his vegetables by covering them in cheese.

  • My daughter would love to make fruit smoothies – she loves Jamba Juice!

I once tried to sneak vegetables into my husbands meatloaf. I finely shredded zucchini and carrots, and mixed it in with the beef/pork/veal (heart attack) mixture. I must have missed one carrot that was kinda big, he had eated HALF of the meatloaf and yelled “what the f@ck is that – a carrot?!”

I was told carrots (and any other vegetable) should not be added to meatloaf. Even though I tried to explain that he didn’t even realize it until he got that little carrot nugget, it was no hope.

So we are back to the beef/pork/veal mixture. Oh, and no bread crumbs to bind it. Only eggs and Kraft parmesan cheese, and crushed pork rinds.

Sadly, I am not kidding on that last one! Looking forward to checking out the rest of your blog – we probably can compare stories!

My mother-in-law used to use her juicer for a great drink made with carrots and some fruit. I’d love to re-create that, but I’ll need to get the exact ingredients from her. It’s time for my household to start eating healthier and this would be a great first step! Thanks for offering it!

  • I plan to sneak into my children’s diet all of the super healthy wheat grass juice I possibly can (and will probably sprout my own wheat to do it!).

  • I would love to give this to my sister as a Christmas present! She has been wanting one!

    Thank you for the giveaway!

I would simply use this to keep my two little ones and myself a bit more healthy as we stay home together.

By the way, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your Tortilla Pie recipe. I crave it frequently :)

  • I love wheat grass and spinach juice. I really do! So I’m going to hoard it if I win. None of my friends or family will want any green juices anyway!

  • I’d love to be able to gift this to my husband..who..surprise of surprises actually likes veggies..except for things like cauliflower and brussel sprouts..I once tried to sneak the brussel sprouts past him by hiding them inside of meatballs…he still wouldn’t try them. But you can’t say I didn’t try.
Anyhow..he likes to drink carrot/spinach juices so this would be a nice surprise for him.
    Thanks for the opportunity.

  • Three words: Wheatgrass and vodka.

It will be healthy AND it will get me and whomever else I can coax into drinking lawn squeezings completely hammered.

Also, I heard that My Husband Hates Veggies cured a blind man and that the lady that runs it is more gorgeous than a limo full of supermodels. That’s what I heard, anyway. And I believe it!

    (give me the juicer)

My juicer just bit the dust! And as a new homeowner, that’s not on the list of necessities! Love the blog……thanks for the giveaway! Oh, and I am hooked on the Ceci Salad….I have it almost every day for lunch!

My goodness! I want I want I want! And I love your website. I love sneaking veggies into everything, but if I could JUICE them … my god. The possibilities are mind-boggling.

  • that’s a toughie. would i selflessly give this to my brother, who’s been hinting at one of these for years, or would i keep it for myself, just to spite him? yep, a toughie. :)

  • Jennifer C

Give it away? You’ve got to be kidding me! I would keep it, and use it to make fabulous beverages.

Speaking of heaping compliments, can I just tell you how much we love your roast chicken with crispy skin and potatoes recipe? I made it for the second time last week and it is so good. Next week I’m trying it with a lime, onion and cilantro inside just to shake things up a bit.

  • Jessica L.

I’d definitely keep the juicer! I’d love to try out tons of different concoctions! I’m totally thinking tomato, spinach, carrot juice.

I made your crispy chicken tonight thanks to Jennifer C up there and it was spectacular! I used lemon, cilantro and garlic inside and a bit of cumin sprinkled on the outside! Those potatoes also were to die for. I am a potato lover and those hit the spot!

Sorry Kitty. That last comment was from me.

  • Believe it or not, put I’ve recently started a high veggie/fruit diet and am slowly teaching myself to cook. I would use this juicer to come up with clever new fruit drinks and a 100% home-made veggie soup that I’ve been tinkering with.

I want to try growing our own wheatgrass and using the juicer to make our own wheatgrass juice. Going to Jamba Juice once a week is getting expensive.

  • What an awesome juicer! I would juice fruits and veggies to sneak into my families meals (deceptively delicious)! Yum Yum!

  • Leigh Anderson-Baker

    I’m vacillating:
part of me wants it for my very own (I’ve always wanted one and even have fantasized about having one in my cupcakery one day *sigh*) …………………..and the other part thinks my mom should have it since she just beat breast cancer and her incident of recurrence is high – it would be a great way for her to get her cancer-fighting antioxidants in without putting in too much effort (she tries). I’d give it to mom obviously, but I’ll use it every time I visit! I bet it beats the frozen stuff!

  • Beth

Oooo, juicer. I’ve got to get my wisdom teeth out AND my tonsils removed when I get back to the states in 4 days (I’m studying in New Zealand) and a juicer would be AMAZING for making healthy juices while I’m stuck on a liquid diet!

I’ve been looking at your veggie fake-outs for when it’s my turn to cook back home; my younger brother is a notorious anti-vegeist.(Anti-vegite? Anti-vege?) Anyway, I’m definitely going to try some of your recipes, he’d be so surprised to get something other than college food, he probably won’t notice a mashed cauliflower hidden amongst his potatoes!

  • I have a husband who hates most veggies, and an almost 11 month daughter who hasn’t yet learned his bad habits – but is probably going to. Please help me get her on the right path before her “Greens are yucky” Daddy gets to her!

Also, we moved last month into a place that has a large enough kitchen for me to store the juicer, so it will have a special place in the cabinet when I’m not juicing up a fruit and veggie storm. :)

  • M Allen

Ohhh I juicer ! I have always wanted one of those ! I have all these yummy recipes for juices I want to try !

  • Debbie

    Juice, juice, juice
    Fluid filled with nutritious goodness
Flowing from the spout like a waterfall in spring
    Into my glass
Waiting, waiting, waiting… thirsty and parched
For my divine liquid to touch my lips
Slowly, ever so slowly, passing my tongue
Whispering to my throat… “here I come”
Down, down, all the way down into my waiting belly
To become the fuel for my voluptous body to burn
To keep me moving on and moving forward
To live to juice another day
